Game StoryCOLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- Andy Beal threw seven strong innings to grab his first win of the season as the Columbus Clippers defeated the Buffalo Bisons, 7-2. Beal (1-2) allowed two runs, scattered seven hits and fanned four batters, helping Columbus to its sixth win its last seven home games. Nate Rolison, who singled and scored in the bottom of the first inning, doubled in two runs in the third and then came home on a two-run single by Ryan McGuire. Michel Hernandez added a lead-off homer in the fourth for the Clippers. Victor Martinez, who is hitting .536 (15-for-28) in his last seven games, drove in both runs for Buffalo with a double in the sixth inning. Jeremy Guthrie (0-2) gave up seven runs -- five earned -- and 12 hits in five innings, striking out five and walking a batter to absorb the loss for the Bisons, who lost for the 11th time in 12 games to fall out of first place in the International League North Division.
